"The synergy that happens when we truly collaborate with clients and consultants is what I enjoy about architecture the most. I have design ideas, they have design ideas, and when we work together the result is so much better than either of us imagined on our own."
"I am an explorer at heart. I love exploring both the great outdoors and new cities. I am most alive when exploring Utah’s back country with my family. I am strongly driven by exploring educational environments that can improve the places and support the way students learn and teachers teach."
Brian is genuinely passionate about designing ideal learning environments for K-12 students and educators. Earning the certification as a Recognized Educational Facility Planner, one of very few in the country, shows his commitment to the practice of designing extraordinary school facilities and his desire to create great spaces for both learning and teaching. Brian lead the design of Grand County School District’s Helen M. Knight Elementary, one of four 2011 national finalists for the James D. MacConnell Award, considered CEFPI’s most prestigious award. Brian’s genuine care for children helps him create some of the best school facilities throughout the region.
