Local Link Transit Study
The Local Link Transit Study aimed to understand how people travel in and around the communities of Sugar House in Salt Lake City, South Salt Lake, and Millcreek. Specifically, the study aimed to identify gaps and barriers for travelers in these areas and make recommendations to better connect these cities together. As Sugar House, South Salt Lake, Millcreek, and Holladay continue to grow, the study suggests ways to improve accessible and alternate ways to get around which include safe bike and pedestrian options, enhanced transit, and improvements to existing roads and streetscapes. These solutions will provide better and additional choices for all travelers and modes of travel. Most importantly, with construction on several major corridors in the study area scheduled within the next five years, the results of study will impact those projects.
