Twin Falls Idaho Temple – The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints

The MHTN Teamwas tasked to create a design that recognizes the sacred and solemn nature of the temple and its spiritual setting for patrons, while ensuring efficient operations. Because of the importance and longevity of this building, materials and workmanship are of the highest quality and consideration of long term maintenance was an integral part of the design process. Early on, the design team observed and studied the architecture found in the Twin Falls area. The nearby Shoshone Falls along the Snake River became a key element of inspiration, with its great sense of ruggedness, pureness, and strength. The edifice embodies grace and dignity, is simple and pure in its expression, straightforward in its massing, and refined in its detailing.
